There is a resistance that surrounds self-care. Likely because it is a courageous act of self-preservation.  

What are the words you are hearing you say to yourself?

Each Sunday I provide morsels of self-care to implement in your weekly routine; I call them positive distractions.  Feel free to tailor and personalize the task to adapt with your own personal style and flow of the week.  I ask that you aim at ‘good enough’ instead of ‘perfectly delivered’ because being done and completing the task is better than perfect and most definitely surpasses no attempt at all. 

Each Sunday, the goal is to ask yourself: what is my wellness of the week (#WOTW)? Identify how you can utilize the positive distraction to work for you and enhance the relationship with yourself and others, generate positive energy, and maintain emotional wellness.  Write down the scheduled time with yourself and feel free to share it using the buttons below or leave a comment.
